Disney World is full of actors decked out as fan-favorite characters. Some of them walk the park every day, while some come out for special occasions. Most villains, for instance, tend to stay out of sight until Halloween rolls around. All of them have great personalities, but some characters lend themselves to a little more gusto than others. Here are some of the best.
Peter Pan and Wendy
There's something about the puckish antics of the boy who never grows up that brings a gleam to the eye of anyone who steps into his shoes. Peter Pan at Walt Disney World is legendary for being goofy, quick-witted, perky, sassy, and charming all in one, regardless of who's playing him. Pan's charm is legendary, inspiring articles online devoted to stories, pictures, and GIFs him going out of his way to make people smile. Pan is often found with Wendy, who's a lot of fun in her own right, even if she hasn't inspired the same level of internet cultishness.
Donald Duck
Disney's most lovable grump has a chip on his shoulder about darn near everything, and you can really tell when you talk to him. Asking him anything about Mickey Mouse or comparing him to other famous ducks is sure to get a memorable reaction, and if dourness isn't your thing, then remember even the biggest grumps appreciate a little flattery.
Gaston
Famously, no-one's neck is incredibly thick as Gaston's, and he brings all of that boisterous pride you'd expect to the park. Fortunately, this Gaston is less egomaniacal and more charmingly oafish. Not only is Gaston one of the most vibrant personalities at the park, he's also incredibly informal. In times of extreme traffic, there may be a line to meet him, but usually, he's just hanging out, flexing, and greeting his admirers. In terms of entertaining performances versus wait time, there may not be a better person to meet.
The Tremaines
The Tremaines—perhaps better known as the wicked stepmother and stepsisters from Cinderella—are also one of the better meet-and-greets. Maybe it's just more fun to play the villain, or maybe it's that the lines are shorter to see the antiheroes so they have more leeway to joke around with guests. Whatever the reason, it's a blast to talk to the Tremaines. The chemistry between them is fun and easy—it takes nothing at all to get Anastasia and Drizella bickering, and Lady Tremaine is usually pretty quick on the draw when answering questions.
Aladdin and Jasmine
Aladdin and Jasmine are set up outside of the Agrabah Bazaar in Adventureland. Aladdin is keen to answer questions about treasure hunting and to defend his honor if you call him a "street rat." Both of them are very attentive and spend as much time as possible with guests, especially in the morning when things are slower.
