  • Milwaukee has landed on the list of most dangerous cities for a while, and it returns to the list in 2023.
  • From violent crimes to property damage and larceny, Milwaukee residents have about a 4 in 100 chance of being a victim in the city.
  • Those are pretty terrible odds for a place with 573,020.

However, Milwaukee's biggest concern is property crime. In 2022, there were 15,446 property crimes that would take up way too much space to list out. Needless to say, the place isn't safe and you should watch your back as long as you're there! Violent crimes account for 11.51 for every 1,000 residents.
