Route 66's Best Kitschy Roadside Attractions

Perhaps America's best-known highway, Route 66 was the lifeblood for many communities during its heyday. After it was replaced by the Interstate System during the 1950s and 60s, the route has now become home to numerous kitschy monuments, hotels, and rest stops that give a glimpse into a bygone era of American history.
