Branson, Missouri, is a fantastic town. There are plenty of things to see and do. However, Branson is best known for musicals. Here are five of the most popular musicals that you can visit while in the community.
1. Presleys’ Country Jubilee
Be sure to take some time and visit this wonderful show that features family members from the Presley family who perform some amazing favorites as well as gospel tunes. This inspirational show is for people of all ages, and families can visit with members of the group during the intermission. Located at the Presleys’ Country Jubilee, people can acquire tickets each day of the week with the exception of Sundays. Adults and teenagers can purchase tickets at $35. Children can get in for $17.
2. The Duttons
If the Duttons sound familiar, you may recognize them from their appearance on NBC's America's Got Talent. Their high-energy musical show ranges from rock to country to bluegrass. Not only do they show off their skills on the violin and fiddle, but they also play the guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica, drums, and more. Additionally, they sing and dance. They can do it all! Get your tickets to their Branson show before they head south to Arizona for the winter. Ticket prices are $43 for adults, $17 for teens, and $12 for children under 12.
3. Samson
This Biblical event is located at the Sight and Sound Theatres, known as the "Christian Broadway." The immersive stage surrounds audiences on three sides and set pieces are regularly 4 stories tall. Tackling the Biblical story of Samson and Delilah, the production features 44 actors and 34 live animals that roam the stage. It's sure to be the highlight of any family vacation with its ability to wow children and adults alike. Tickets for adults are $49 and $23 for children 12 and younger.
4. Showboat Branson Belle
One of Branson's most popular show experiences is aboard a showboat on Table Rock Lake. While the main show rotates aboard the Branson Belle, the traditional offering is a variety show featuring the songs and dances of the 1960s to today with the accompaniment of a four-piece band. Included in the ticket price (and the trip around the lake) is a three-course meal. Ticket prices for general seating are $55 for adults over 12 and $28 for children 4-11.
5. SIX
Take time and enjoy six brothers as they sing and entertain audiences. These artists include a wide variety of music from entertainers like Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Coldplay, The Beach Boys and much more. With the exception of Sundays, SIX has shows every day of the week. There are show times at 2:00 pm and at 8:00 pm. Held at the Mickey Gilley Theatre, SIX tickets are $34 for adults, $18 for teenagers and $8 for children.
