Heather Glen was designed by both William Byrd and Clyde Johnston, and features challenging holes among wandering streams and grand oaks. Glen Dornoch was also designed by Clyde Johnston. Magnolias, pines and oaks cover the 270-acre course. Shaftsbury Glen is a throwback to Olde English greens with its well-manicured fairways and remote location.
