Where to Stay in Orlando

Just because you are visiting Orlando doesn't mean you are going to bed tuck with Mickey and Minnie hanging out with you at all moments of the day. While this might be exactly what your family wants, you might want a bit of a break from all of the amusement park attractions when you finally arrive back at home. This is exactly why there are hundreds of different hotels located throughout Orlando. This gives you the ability to chose what works best for you, your family and your budget.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando

If you are looking for luxury that whisks you away from mouse ears and cotton candy, Waldorf is exactly the hotel you are looking for. Here, the hotel is located right on the southeast corner of Walt Disney World, and it is on 482 acres of pristine island land, so you are going to feel as if you are a world away. There are also 171 different suites in the hotel, which gives you beautiful views of the Bonnet Creek and even parts of Disney World as well. Plus, if you want a break from the amusement parks, there is an 18 hole golf course on sight and a full spa for everyone to relax and recuperate after a long day of standing in lines and walking in the sun.

Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes

The Ritz-Carlton is rather isolated, which is what makes it so desirable. It is situated on 500 acres of undeveloped land, and every room has king-sized beds and incredible balconies overlooking the land. Plus, it has one of the largest spas in the city at over 40,000 feet. Of course, you also have a Greg Norman designed golf course and several different swimming pools to allow you to enjoy yourself. In fact, you might enjoy the hotel so much that you never even make it to the amusement parks at all. If you do eventually find yourself up for the parks though, SeaWorld is only two miles away.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Orlando

While you might want to leave Disney behind when you make it to your hotel, this gives you something a bit different. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge isn't overly Disney themed, and it puts you right in the heart of an African safari. In fact, there are live animals, such as giraffes and wildebeest that roam around the hotel grounds. This is something completely unique and not only is fun for the kids, but for adults as well. Best of all, there are some of the best restaurants in the entire city located right in the hotel, and if you are making your way to Disney in the morning, you can easily hop onto the monorail for a direct ride, all without having to rent out a car or other vehicle to take you there. This way, you are able to enjoy your stay and make the most of it all. It is different form other hotel options, but different in a good way.
