Get Into the Movies at Universal Studios Hollywood

Guests riding in the trams are entertained by comedian Jimmy Fallon, new host of The Tonight Show. Other exciting attractions on the Studio Tour include King Kong 360 3D, created by Peter Jackson; the plane crash from War of the Worlds; a tour of Wisteria Lane from the hit ABC series Desperate Housewives; the Bates Motel from Psycho; and an encounter with Jaws.

Movie-Inspired Rides

In addition to the world’s most famous backlot, Universal Studios Hollywood features several thrilling rides inspired by the movies. Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and The Simpsons Ride are two of the newest thrills located in the park. Other popular attractions include Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride, Shrek 4-D, Jurrassic Park: The Ride, and WaterWorld.

Other Attractions

During an excursion at Universal Studios Hollywood, guests can rub shoulders with movie and television characters from their favorite shows. Shrek, Donkey, and Princess Fiona greet kids of all ages. The minions from Despicable Me 2 wander the park spreading cheer and mischief. Other characters occasionally sighted here include Megatron, Curious George, and Scooby-Doo and the gang.
