The City of St. Petersburg released an official statement on Helene and Milton Recovery, writing: In the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the City of St. Petersburg is actively working to tackle an unprecedented amount of storm-related debris.

City crews have responded swiftly, launching a comprehensive clean-up operation with an all-hands-on-deck approach, including activating the City's disaster debris contractors and monitoring company. The City of St. Petersburg is committed to completing the massive debris clean-up within 90 days.

Hurricane Milton landed at Boca Grande as a Category 3 hurricane and caused extensive damage to the island, including flooding, sand in the streets, and damaged roofs and fences. The Boca Grande Community Center and Fire Station were significantly damaged, and the Boca Grande Island School and Crown and Shield building also suffered.

According to Bloomberg, Helene "swept past" and "its storm surge crashing through dunes and mangroves, leaving two feet of water in Boca Grande shops."

According to USA Today, residents of Siesta Key were "still picking up the pieces after Hurricane Helene when Milton struck."

These natural events have intensified efforts to protect and preserve the village’s historic architecture and cultural heritage, leading to community-driven initiatives focused on flood management and preservation. Biltmore Village continues to be a treasured landmark, blending Asheville’s historic charm with a modern retail and cultural hub.

The **Tropicana Field** is a domed stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida, known as the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, Major League Baseball’s (MLB) local team. Opened in 1990, it was originally built to attract a professional baseball team to the region and eventually became the Rays’ official stadium when the team was established in 1998. 

Tropicana Field is unique among MLB stadiums due to its fully enclosed, air-conditioned design—a necessary feature in Florida’s humid climate.
