The city actually sees the highest hotel occupancy rates during the summer when the average high is only 88°F, and the humidity is considerably lower than coastal cities. That's not to say it isn't hot during the summer, but the humidity during these months hovers around 30%. That's half of what it typically is in New York City. However, Spartanburg is in a region of the country that experiences four distinct seasons, so, if you spend a year there you'll get a little bit of everything—which is exactly what a lot of people are looking for. You might need to watch the humidity in July and August (it is the South, after all), but the weather is smooth sailing almost 365 days a year.

Average highs in the summer stay below 90 degrees and average lows in the winter hover around 40 degrees, so it's rarely a bad time to get outside and explore everything that Fayetteville has to offer. Just be prepared for a little rain all year round!

Coupled with low humidity, the summer heat can be downright nice if you’re into that sort of thing! Just don’t expect many lazy, rainy days in this desert paradise!

Hawaii’s beautiful weather is not exactly a well-kept secret. You can basically close your eyes and point at a map of Hawaii and find a place with perfect temps. However, Honolulu might be one of the best locales in this tropical paradise.
Honolulu does experience a small rainy season during the winter, but honestly, a few rainy days are a nice change of pace from the otherwise perfectly sunny weather this place has! Just don’t expect any snow at Christmas time—Honolulu’s all-time record low temperature is only 52 degrees!

If Hawaii isn’t your thing, the United States has another tropical paradise on the east coast! Florida as a whole is known for its sunny skies and warm temps, and that’s especially true in Orlando. Despite not being a coastal town, Orlando is still one of the most beautiful spots in the entire state.
You’ll definitely enjoy the mild winters that Orlando has to offer, but they come at a cost—lots of rain. Orlando has more rainy days than the national average, but many of them only involve short thunderstorms that pop up in the afternoon and dissipate quickly. Overall though, you can’t do much better than Orlando!

You might want to consider putting your winter coat in storage too, as average low temperatures are still in the 50s for most of those months.

As a coastal town, the humidity can get pretty intense during Sarasota summers, but the mild, dry winters in the city make the summer heat all worth it! Just don’t expect any snow here—the last time that the city hit freezing temperatures was all the way back in 2018.

Average highs can reach 100 or higher during the summers, but the dry heat of the desert can make these temps more bearable. At least most of Scottsdale’s days are sunny and dry—the city averages less than ten inches of rain each year, which means that bad weather rarely ruins any plans.
