Here, you’ll be greeted in style, attend a party with dozens of Hollywood A-list stars, explore a variety of movie sets, and take a look behind the scenes. This is one of the most well-known wax museums in the world, and figures here include an array of icons from current pop culture all the way back to Hollywood’s golden age.

Hours and Ticketing Options

Madame Tussads Hollywood is open 364 days a year, closed only for the Academy Awards each winter. The museum opens at 10:00 each morning. Monday through Friday, it closes at 7:00 in the evening. On Saturday and Sunday, the museum stays open until 8:00. Special attractions occasionally feature limited or special hours, and closing times may vary throughout the year.

Guests can purchase tickets at the museum, but better prices are available online. Tickets for adults and children are available at a 25% discount online if purchased 24 hours in advance. Special discounts are available to local residents. Groups of 15 or more will receive a 30% discount as well as one free ticket for every 20 paid tickets purchased. Other special offers are also available from the museum’s website.

The Exhibits

As a visit to Madame Tussauds Hollywood begins, visitors encounter a life-size likeness of Joan Rivers asking, “What are you wearing?” More fun is waiting around every corner.

The stars are always out at the A-list party here. Mingle with the likes of Beyoncé, Justin Beiber, Johnny Depp, and Jennifer Lopez. Browse the exhibits and get up close to the celebrities without any ropes or barriers in your way.

In the Spirit of Hollywood exhibit, guests can explore classic scenes from the golden age of Hollywood. You’ll encounter Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, and James Dean, among others. For a unique photo opportunity, visitors can join Peter O’Toole in a reproduction of the set of Lawrence of Arabia or enter a scene from Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn.

Lovers of specific movie genres will have fun stepping in and out of their favorite scenes at Madame Tussauds. Western and Crime exhibits are among the most popular here. Modern movie classics are celebrated through recreated scenes from such movies as Forrest Gump and Dirty Dancing.

Other attractions at Madame Tussauds Hollywood include exhibits featuring sports legends such as Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant. Action heroes have their own exhibit as well, and before leaving, guests can learn about Madame Tussaud herself in a unique behind-the-scenes exhibit. Of course, this is Hollywood, so don’t leave without enjoying a star-studded awards ceremony.
