Beautiful Stays at the Bellagio

MGM Resorts International owns the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. The Bellagio, LLC operates as a Limited Liability Corporation. Developed by Steve Wynn and built by his company, Mirage Resorts, Inc., the concept was unique, to bring the flavor of the Lombardy Region of Italy to a Las Vegas hotel and casino. Planned following the purchase and demolition of the Dunes hotel and casino site, Bellagio construction began in October 27, 1993. The Bellagio opened in October 15, 1998; and later renovated, most notably by the addition of the Bellagio Spa Tower in 2004, 2006, and 2011. Based upon the City of Bellagio, Italy the Bellagio’s distinct theme is European, including replicas of Lake Como and the Bellagio Tower.

MGM Resorts International is a leading resort, casino, and hotel developer in Las Vegas. It owns 17 properties located in Nevada, Mississippi and Michigan and has 50% investments in four other properties in Nevada, New Jersey, Illinois and Macau, including the City Center development. All of its hotel casino holding have become leading venues in Las Vegas.

Bellagio is part of a world-renowned strip of a large hotel casinos and entertainment destinations including Caesar's Palace. Bellagio's signature features include a Conservatory and Botanical Garden, offering rare plants and flowers from around the world. It changes themes on a seasonal basis including Chinese New Year and a display of orchids. The famous Fountains of Bellagio are located in the front area named Lake Como featuring iconic fountains. The fountains make a synchronous dance to music in the day, and lighted at night to make a spectacular night show; they grace the entrance and the Lake area.

One almost forgets that the Bellagio is a five Star rated hotel. It has nearly 4,000 rooms. Amenities include WI-FI, fitness rooms, pools and spa, toiletries, free parking, restaurants, bars, and a nightclub with DJ. Breakfast is available on the site and room service. It has several restaurants offering American and international styles of cuisine.

The works of glass sculptor Dale Chihuly dominate the lobby and the baccarat lounge. A chandelier of sculpted glass flowers highlights the main lobby; titled Fiori Di Como, it attracts light and color in a remarkable display of glass art. The Bellagio has an art Gallery. The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is a permanent collection of the works of well-known artists. The Gallery also puts on themed presentations such as Women in the 1980's. Composed in such themes, gallery presentations cover periods and artists of note such as Georgia O'Keefe, and Mary Cassatt, Picasso, Ansel Adams, and Andy Warhol. In connection with leading Museums around the world, the Gallery brings outstanding collections for exhibition.

The Bellagio offers five-star rated restaurants, bars, nightclubs, casino gaming, and stage entertainment. Its restaurants have impressive records of achieving top ratings for more than a decade running. The Bellagio is the stage-home of the "O" Theatre and performances by a Cirque de Soleil troupe. Performances run daily with black out dates. The combination of hotel, casino, world class dining, and stage entertainment has made Bellagio a leading destination in Las Vegas.
